7 Ways We Use Math in Everyday Life
#1
اینم در جواب اونی که گفت : نمیدونم ریاضی به چه درد میخوره ؟ اگه بازم بری سرکار ، ای دلم میخواست 2 دستی بزنم تو سرش !!

Many students ask the question: “Why do I need to know math outside of class”" Basic math skills are important in life beyond school. What students learn in class may not seem directly applicable to “the real world,” but the skills and thought processes students pick up in math class are extremely useful for a full, productive, smart life.

Here are seven ways people use math they learned in class in every day life:

At work. Knowing basic subtraction, addition, division, and multiplication skills are useful when handling money. Cashiers need to knowbasicmathematicaloperations. The higher one rises in employment, the more one typically has to know how to handle money. Without math, money handling is impossible.
Personal finance. After school, everyone is inevitably destined to work for their money. Knowing basic math and how numbers and money works is essential to smartly managing money and keeping ahead of their finances.
Cooking. The basic materials needed for delicious food need to be measured out and sometimes converted into different measurements. Without a basic understanding of math, this is impossible.
Keeping a diary or personal planner. Sometimes we don’t have time to think about how to plan events in our days. Knowing how many minutes in an hour, how many hours in a day, and how long things take is essential to making and keeping appointments and plans.
Gardening. Landscaping or planting a few flowers in the back yard requires planning according to the area of the garden and careful budgeting. Knowing the basic steps in figuring area and budgeting is required.
Sports. Know what the score is and how many need to be scored to take the lead, or put the game on ice. This simple knowledge affects strategy in almost any sport. Why take a three pointer when all you need is two points”
Eating at a restaurant. At some point, everyone must learn how to tip properly. Knowing the basic concepts of percentages, addition, and subtraction are crucial to dining out successfully.
These are only a few examples of how math affects our lives. Advanced math, such as calculus, merely opens our minds to new concepts that force us to use the skills we used before. Even if we don’t use these advanced skills directly in everyday life, the mental pathways they require are crucial in our lives.
